Where is Blended Vintage located?

Blended Vintage stylists are located in London, UK. We offer our services worldwide, with Bended Vintage we can source your required vintage style in some of the best vintage stores and fairs in the capital and send it directly to you!

Is true vintage expensive?

You can make vintage additions to your wardrobe at any age and with the smallest budgets! Places like vinted, eBay, charity shops, and vintage shops all cater for a range of budgets. High end vintage can also be a smart investment, caring for your investment piece will give you your money back and normally with a profit! Buying vintage investment pieces is also a way to own labels you adore but at a fraction of the cost.

What about sizing?

More exciting news! Size labels do not count!!! We all know that a size twelve in one modern store can be inches smaller or bigger in another! Industry sizes have changed! Leaving us all confused, Disheartened and frustrated! A general rule is always look for two sizes up in vintage when comparing to your modern label’s sizes, i.e. size twelve? on average go for a vintage label sixteen. I say scrap all that! Do not even look at the size labels just go by your measurements! Not sure how to take your measurement? Do not worry we can show you how!

What about Fabric's?

Something that excites me about vintage is the fabrics!! Unlike modern ready to wear vintage pieces have been made with precision and care, excellent quality stitching, some by hand especially beading, and sequins. This all makes vintage clothes more durable, the fact they still exist is testament to this, with vintage you can wear fabrics such as pure silk, wool, cashmere, and genuine leather. When well cared for your vintage pieces will last for many more years to come.

• Virtual style guidance and sourcing for an occasion.

Book in for an on-line chat to discuss your occasion, your style and your desired look for the event. After the call the stylist will create several options and advice on where to shop to create your desired look. You can also book a personal shop appointment if preferred.

•Personal wardrobe cleanse.

Starting with an initial chat discussing your requirement, your desired looks, a wardrobe consultation, deciding on pieces to be kept and one'sto donate to your favourite charity or sell.

• Shopping for your wardrobe.

Once your wardrobe is cleansed! Then the fun begins building vintage pieces to curate a timeless classic wardrobe in your own desired stye, with the pieces you already own. A list can then be created for your shopping experience with the stylist with a list of shops, possibly a vintage event, or online vintage shopping if you live outside London. This experience will also build your confidence of styling your own induvial style.

• Shopping for fun!

If you do not walk around with a tape measure in your bag, and do not have time to source vintage or do not know where to start that is where we can help. Finding your way to your own style is fun and exciting, and whatever aesthetic you want to accomplish classic, retro, preppy, Boho, vintage clothing can be the crowning glory of your style! Our inhouse stylist Laura has a long career in vintage styling, from selecting and selling vintage pieces for photo shoots, television and film, she has coordinated fashion shows for vintage events, selecting the vintage, styled and choreographed the models for the shows to a smooth and successful event. She also previously owned two vintage shops. After taking many years away from shows and shops, to raise her daughter, with her lifelong love of vintage, fashion and Vogue! She has kept her passion alive and is back styling and has many happy clients, who she has helped find their style with fabulous wardrobes!!
